Have Students Finishing Incompletes? Here’s What to Do in Brightspace!

If you have students who were graded Incomplete at the end of a semester and need to give them access to the course after its completion, you can grant them a special role that will allow them to access to the course after its end date.

You can change the student’s role to the Learner – Course Extension role in your course via the Classlist.

Keep in mind this change does not set the dates you had set on your content, assignments, quizzes, discussions. If you set any dates on items in the course, you will need to modify them for the student to be able to access them and complete coursework.
